A BIS account, or BlackBerry Internet Service account, is something that is setup through your cellular provider and allows you to access the Internet through your phone, such as websites and email. It also has the ability to check a POP/IMAP account for new messages and deliver them directly to your phone.
Setting up your BIS account can be done by contacting your vendor. You may setup your BIS account via your BlackBerry, or via your web-browser.
When you set up you BIS account with your Cell Phone provider you will subscribe to the following address:
https://webmail.gozonehosting.com/mbis.dll
You will supply your username and password which is what you would use to login to Webmail.
Once you have the BIS account set up with your Cellular provider you will choose what folders are sent to your Blackberry via the WebMail client. To do this login to your webmail account and do the following:
- Click Options

- Click Folders

- Under Push to BlackBerry (or Push to BB Inbox in Simple), check all folders you want pushed to your BlackBerry

- Click Save
